Wonderful vintage battery operated mystery action Western Special Locomotive tin train #3230. Toy was manufactured by Modern Toys of Japan in the 1960's. Patent number is printed on the box lid. Functions include puffing noise, whistle, and flashing light. Works perfectly. Requires 3 "D" cell batteries not included. Train locomotive is in excellent vintage condition as seen in photos, excellent finish, no signs of rust, etc. However, box is kind of rough. Box bottom is intact, but box top is very fragile and has been taped in multiple places. Batteries were inserted and toy is in perfect working condition.
