Primitive old fence stretcher for barbed wire from an old ranch estate. This fencing tool is marked "DILLON STERLING IL - Pat DEC 10 1905" (AS BEST AS I CAN MAKE OUT THE DATE) This is used to pull the fence wire tight while working on the fence, splicing the wire, attaching the wire to the posts etc..
