Hi all, This is a rare vintage Chinese burl wood brush holder decorated with calligraphy. It was a gift to someone important. The photos shown are exact item and it has no damage. It was dated May, 1925. The brush pot itself seems to have been engraved signed by the person, since I do not read any Chinese. It was acquired from a veteran's home in San Diego, California.
