Vintage Beaugnier Vito French Tenor Saxophone - RARE FIND!!! - $1,200 - (Normal, IL)

You are looking at a vintage French-made Vito tenor sax made by Beaugnier Saxophone Company of Mantes la Ville, France. The serial number is 20298 made in probably late 60s or early 70s. There is easily 80-90% original lacquer remaining. There is some of the normal wear/light scratches throughout the body. There are a couple of dents and dings throughout the horn so carefully review the pictures posted. The neck might have had a pull-down in the past and repaired. There was a bell-lip bent and repaired but the job wasn't that great. A good repairman may address it better. The neck strap hook has been worn out. The left thumb rest is missing. As for the tone....this sax has a very nice voice with good amount of complexity. Personally, these horns are very under-valued and hidden secret. There are a mixture of new and old pads. The sax is playing as is but not in its top playing condition. The horn is recommended to be checked up. It comes with a rectangular shaped not-so-fancy case.
