This stopper fits most wine bottles and other bottles that do not measure more than 7/8 inches across the top. The Rubber Stopper measures 5/8 inches across bottom and 7/8 inches across top. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!! Tips on keeping Hummingbird Feeders from Dripping VERY IMPORTANT - When filling your tube type feeder with nectarALWAYS fill it COMPLETELY FULL with COOL nectar. Be sure to make the proper nectar formulation. Do not use an overly large nectar reservoir since the weight of the nectar may cause dripping. Small containers work best. Insert the stopper as tightly as possible. Work the stopper around for best seal and invert the feeder quickly to avoid any air from entering into it. (NOTE: Tube feeders work on a vacuum principle. Only if the feeder is initially filled completely full will the vacuum form.) Hang the feeder in a straight, vertical direction. Hang in the shade or partial shade. The cooler the feeder the less likely it is to drip. Keep your feeder very clean by washing frequently with hot water & a bottle brush. an occasional vinegar rinse will help thoroughly clean your feeder - rinse well with hot water afterward.
