1964 Blackface Fender Vibro Champ Pre-CBS - $829 - (Minneapolis, MN)

This vintage 1964 Vibro Champ amp delivers the classic Fender blackface tone at a usable volume--a perfect combination of chime and grit. The speaker is not original but looks old and sounds great. The speaker wires are not original and have a splice and the power cord is new. The amplifier does not appear to have been serviced, but runs smoothly and without a hitch. The transformers are dated mid 1964 (all original), serial number is 1964, and date code on tube chart is "NL" which dates to December 1964. The amp says "Fender Electric" on the front which is correct for 1964-1965. All in all, a no excuses, plug-in-and-play, vintage amp with just enough cool wear to show it has been around.
