I am having to relist this item due to the fact that the last ebay buyers user account was hacked and the scammer tried to purchase the item with an unauthorized charge via paypal. Vintage Otari MX5050 ½ Inch 8 Track Professional Reel To Reel Recorder $1,400.00 FIRM (NO TRADES) Serious buyers only please. I am selling my vintage Otari MX5050 ½ inch 8 track professional reel to reel recorder. I will also include the original Otari MX5050 owners manual as well as the 2 original MRL Calibration reel tapes for 15 ips and 7.5 ips as well as a 15 ft 8 channel snake with Neutrik XLR Male/Female to TRS snake for connecting the unit to a console or DAW and the original take up reel. The Otari is in excellent condition with low hours on it and I had the pinch roller professionally reconditioned on it by Terry's Rubber Rollers. Please note that with any vintage reel to reel it will need to be recalibrated prior to use. Please note that I would prefer local pick up for the Otari since it is extremely heavy and fragile to ship it but if you have to have it shipped to you would cost the buyer around $500.00 for it to be professionally packed in a wooden crate and shipped to you.
