Lovely old board room clock, glassed front and back with unusual combination of New Haven case and M. Winterhalder movement. Remarkable tone and quality of melody that you would expect from a fine machine. Softly plays Westminster or Whittington melodies. I am told that this is actually an 11 jewel movement, but due to import laws at the time it was listed as only 9 jewels. Winterhalder and New Haven had a long running feud at the turn of the 1900's, probably dating this clock to that period. Clock is running and keeps good time, chimes work properly, as pictured. Has not been cleaned, other than dusting it off, it should be serviced and oiled. Sold in as found and as pictured condition.
