Vintage 1940's German Violin - $2,500 - (Salem, OR)

My Grandmother purchased the violin for me in 1947 from the J.L. Hudson store in Detroit when I was in the 6th grade, hoping I would become the violinist that my father didn't become. But like my father I wasn't much for practicing, and only studied through the 8th grade.In 2006 I had the neck replaced by a violin maker. That is when I learned of it's origin, and the beautiful tone it produced when he played it. included is a Glasser bow.
