Vintage Working Heathkit HA-14 'Kompact Kilowatt' Linear Amplifier - $475 - (Williston, FL)

Very nice working condition Heathkit HA-14 amplifier. As you can see in the photos it's in like new condition. Heathkit called it the Kompact Kilowatt, intended for mobile and/or fixed station application. However, the 'kilowatt' refers to power input, not output. This amplifier requires an external power supply providing about 2000V at 0.5A, plus filament and bias. It is designed to work with either the HP-24 or HP-14 power supplies, but I made the mistake of selling my HP-14 separately, so the power supply is not included. I did test it with the HP-14, and it worked fine. Partial copy of manual is included. This Heathkit amplifier works as described, but due to it's age it is sold as-is without warranty.
