The lens shutter opens and closes automatically when powered on or off. The charging light comes on when the built-in USB is plugged in. I can't get it to install on Windows. Batteries are Sony NP-FV50 Infolithium. Both batteries are Like new and Sony brand. This camcorder has infrared NightShot. Listing as For Parts because of the blurry video.
