Elgin 15 jewel movement made in 1889Spectacular hand carved case manufactured by Brooklyn Watch Case Company... highly respected for their excellence in watch case manufacturing.You can see very faint tool marks on the inside of front lid creating by the engraver as the design was carved into the case.So slight that it is hard to photograph. Stem wind and lever set (Do not pull on crown to set hands)Glass crystal and beautiful Elgin moon style handsNear perfect fancy enamel single sunk dial... no visible hairlines.Slight blemishes are present but were actually introduced during the manufacturing process.
