UNKNOWN native american linen - $350 - (Victoria, BC)

I have had this piece for over 14 years now in a box, I searched for its meaning and origins, but am still unsure. Lakota stars are embroidered and strewn about, there are also glass beads on the fringes the piece measures 14x14, without fringes on side Enjoy!
