1856-S U.S. Gold $2.50 LIBERTY HEAD Coin $2 1/2 San Francisco - $595 - (Princeton, WV)

This is a very nice looking 1856-S Liberty Head $2.50 Gold U.S. coin. It shows very fine detail, and if I was to grade it I'd say EF (Extremely Fine), maybe better. The hair on the bun and curls shows definition, and hair lines on the top of the head are present. A few surface marks on the obverse (see pictures) but only minor. Eagle feathers show slight wear. There are three tiny scratches on the reverse: one under the D in UNITED, and two above the right eagle wing. Use the pictures to judge the coin yourself.
