Handmade 15” HAMLEY 1999 Roper Champion Pendleton Round up Trophy Saddle - $1,950 - (Canyon, TX)

This is a handmade trophy saddle made by Hamley & Co. and awarded to the 1999 Roper Champion at the Pendleton Round Up. Hamley & Co. began business in 1883 and was well known for making the best gear money could buy. In 1905 they relocated to Pendleton, Oregon and set up shop on the Oregon Trail and are still in business today. The saddle was won by Matt Tyler, a team roping header who competed in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo for twenty consecutive years (1986–2005) and won the average title in 2003. The saddle is in perfect condition and does not look like it was ever used. It comes with the matching flank cinch.
