This is a pretty pear plate that is meant for decorative use. The artwork is done nicely, the tan center , the pears, and the scrollwork bordering this 8" plate. The backside is also a pear green. It is not meant to serve food, but to serve art. It had a French country aspect to it, clean lines, subtle colors, fresh fruit.
