Wm Rogers Silver Plate Serving Dish with Cover SGW ESTATE SALE - $45 - (Okotoks, AB)

Used regularly for formal dinners post-war 1949 to 1973. Now available as SGW Estate Sale of 3rd generation owners. Many other silver plate and sterling items available and increasing every day. The mark "Wm.Rogers" surrounded by a star and eagle was used by William rogers between 1825 to 1841. Hamilton Ont. is below the maker, and the number .42 is below that. This is followed by 17 / 28 The condition is used and was in regular family dinner service. There are many small scratches on the bottom, but the plate is intact. Dimensions are 8.25 x 6.25 x 2.5" high.
