Van Laar Mod 3 Bb Trumpet, 4 metals, Copper Bell - $1,500 - (Tucson, AZ)

Beautiful horn. Everything works. Some wear on bell seam from copper wearing off, see 4th picture. Small scratches. Talked to Van Laar Trumpets and they think it is from early 1980's and was one of a kind. They normally only made this horn in lacquer. Talked to Chuck Findley and he thinks it could have been his brother Bob Findley's horn. Plays open and somewhat brighter then I would expect with a Copper Bell. Comes with a Yamaha case. Just do not need as many horns as I own, so it has to go.
