Photos #2 was taken in daylight, and photo #7 was taken in our darkroom. The bottom of the specimen has been cut to serve as a flat base (photo #8). The specimen originated from Hunan Province, China. The calcite blades glow the brightest brightest red in mid wave (photo #3) and the fluorite glows deep blue in long wave (photo #4). Photo #1 was taken with both MW & LW lamps on. The calcite also glows red in short wave (photo #6); photo #5 was taken with both SW & LW lamps on. Weighs 11.8 oz. & measures 4.0 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches.
