Vintage 1947 Vega Odell Duo-Tron archtop D-26 - $1,375 - (Draper, UT)

Up for sale is a 1947 Vega Odell D-26 Duo-Tron electric, acoustic arch top., It is date coded Aug. 1947 {H4724} The top ts solid spruce with maple back and sides. The lower bout is 16 1/2" and the body depth is 3 3/4". The neck on the guitar is like a modern profile and the scale is 25" with a 1 9/16" at the nut . The neck thickness is 15/16" @ 1st fret and 1 1/4" at @ 10th fret. The frets and fretboard show no obvious wear. There is a slight separation at the very bottom of the neck heel , but the neck set is rock solid and the action is low. This guitar is a real gem and is easy to play and sounds awesome both up plugged and plugged in . It is acoustically loud and has a strong pickup. The guitar has a mild uniform lacquer checking with no damage or cracks. It is in collectable condition and an every day player. comes with original hard case and 15 Ft original cord. Should not be a disappointment to any buyer. It is 70 years old and plays and sounds beautiful.
