One man has passed out from something he ate from the tree. Most of the artwork is about nature; trees, birds, flowers, clouds and wind and a cherry tree in the outer border. This is not taken out of a book so I am not referring to this artwork as a manuscript. This is a stand alone painting depicting a story of three men on a journey. This is illuminated artwork in which the text is supplemented with such decoration as initials, borders (marginalia) and miniature illustrations. Islamic paintings like this one may be referred to as illuminated, illustrated or painted. Real gold paint is used on the innermost border and on the middle border details.
