This Auction is for this Antique Wall Mounted Kerosene Glass Lantern with a Fab Mercury Glass Reflector and Swiveling Metal Arm/Holder. It originally came from upstate N.Y., and is probably from the late 1800's. The font is a pale yellow and hand painted with Acorns. It has all the parts except the glass chimney. The bottom of the opaque glass lantern font is molded with the maker's name, Atheholt & Co. N.Y. & Philadelphia. It has a hand painted design of Acorns. The burner stem is marked #3 Arctic MB Co. N.Y. It does not turn now, we didn't want to force it. It may need to be oiled. The font and burner together are 7.5" H; the font is ~6" diameter. The Blown Mercury Glass Reflector is in great shape! It is 7.5" in diameter. The metal arm and attaching bracket look like they were originally a gilded gold, that has worn off, or been partially removed. Where the Reflector attached to the arm has a nut (see pic), so that the angle of the Reflector can be changed or rotated. The arm is 12.25"L x ~10"H x 5.75" W where the font sits.
