Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Ralph Malpage Signed Demo Sized Pintail Pair of Decoys For auction is this pair of 13 3/4" long x 5 1/2” high x 4” wide, demo sized decorative drake and hen Pintails by Ralph Malpage of London Ontario. The hen is carved in the resting position. These decoys are hand signed. They have carved wing tips and tremendous detail; exactly what you would expect of a master carver. Both are in mint condition and signed by the maker. Please see photos for condition, note the exquisite feather carving on the decoys and the subtleties of the painting. It is a three dimensional canvas which helps inspire a love of the great outdoors. Malpage is now 80 plus years old. Ralph began making decoys at the age of 15 and was tutored by Benj J. Schmidt of Michigan. He in turn tutored Wragg and Burrell , also well known decoy carvers of London Ontario, both men have since passed.
