English 1853 Pattern Cavalry Sword Crimean War Issue - $700 - (Brantford, ON)

For sale is a fine 19th century English cavalry sword. I am told that this is the pattern of sword used by the British cavalry during the Crimean War. It is in generally good shape for its age but is sold as is. The auction is for the sword only as the original scabbard is no long present. There are several marking including 'mole' the numbers '6-1-13' and what appears to be a proof mark with a crown. The blade is 35 and 1/2 inches in length.
