Vintage 1959 Ludwig Transition Badge Port-a-Pak 3pc Drumset - $2,150 - (Mckeesport, PA)

This auction is for a vintage 1959 Ludwig Transition Badge 3pc Porta-Pak Drumset in a rare black wrap that I bought about a year ago from another dealer.This is a very nice drumset that I would call a players kit,I say this because the bass drum has extra holes from the rail mount being moved and the previous owner put his initials on the side of the bass drum,the front reinforcement hoop was also replaced professional job.But I think this adds to the character of the set.You would be playing history,expect light scratches and nicks just from being played and moved around for 50+years.The 14" has the push button tabs for the legs,the 14 and 12 have no mods.This set sounds and looks amazing and would perfect for the right player,thanks for looking!
