Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse-- the two icons are inseparable. In 1953 John Hench created a painting of Mickey to honor his 25th anniversary. A limited number of dye transfer prints were made and never sold-- but given by the Disney Studio to select recipients as special gifts..... This LARGE and handsome print of Mickey from the Walt Disney Studio is boldly autographed by Walt Disney on the matte in brown crayon. These high quality dye-transfer prints were not available to the general public, but instead created at the Walt Disney Studio for promotional purposes (gifts to top-selling film salespeople, entertainment reporters, and celebrities). Very nice vintage condition with light fading... Back paper will need to be reattached... See pictures for details.... He earned two Academy Award nominations and one Pulitzer nomination for his music compositions.
