Antique Vintage Hickory Shaft Walter Hagen Sterling Silver Putter - $850 - (Durham, NC)

This item is an antique vintage hickory shaft right handed 34 1/2" putter. Marked Walter Hagen Putter on the back, Lambert Bros Jewelers New York on the sole and Sterling on the hosel. Made of sterling silver. Most of these putters were made as gifts and not for play. This one has the recipient on the back. Dot face scoring. The head is in good vintage condition. The soft sterling head does have some minor nicks but if it was used it wasn't used very much. Please look at the zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory which is probably original. The shaft is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. Great collectible item. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 2 pound box. This item shipped Priority Mail. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the USPS charges.
