This transmitter/receiver pair enables you to send DVI or HDMI signals over a significant distance. It used 2 category cables between the transmitter and the receiver to send the signals. A shielded CAT6 cable is recommended for longer distances at higher resolutions. A DVI or HDMI cable can send a signal max of 25 feet before signal degradation takes affect. These devices can send a single? link DVI-D or HDMI signal over 200 feet(60 meters) for HDTV at 720p/60 and XGA 1024x768. 1920x1200 and HDTV 1080p/60 can be sent up to 100 feet (30 meters) with unshielded category cables and 150 feet with shielded category cables.
