The Planar calibration kit was originally designed for the calibration of video walls that included the Planar (same as Sencor's) calibration software. The Chroma5 light meter used inside the kit is unlicensed, meaning it can be used with any video calibration software that will support this instrument meter. We are including DisplayCal software which is one of the best calibration software out there today. All USB drivers are included for use with MS Windows.In addition to the Chroma5 light meter, this kit also includes a calibration DVD (AVS HD709) as well a flash drive with ISO file for burning your own calibration DVD. The USB driver for Sencor is different that the USB driver for DisplayCal and does require you to select between the two for software compatibility. We fully bench tested this calibration kit on both a desktop and laptop PC and performed calibrations using both the Sencore and DisplayCal application softwares.
