Eberline E-520 Geiger Counter survey meter radiation detector with HP 260 probe - $275 - (St. John, KS)

Nice and clean E-520. Much like the Ludlum 14C this has both an internal GM tube and an external GM probe. The external probe is a pancake style HP-260 that detects Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-Ray radiation. The internal tube detects Gamma radiation. Pictures show it detecting an old clock dial on X 1.0 scale and it's own check source (Cs 137) on the same scale. One picture shows it detecting an Alpha source (one very close to the probe face). On the X 0.01 scale it shows about 60 CPM background here in my shop. Last calibration was due on 5/6/15 as shown on the sticker on the side of the case. Uses 2 "D" size batteries (not included).
