RARE Vintage First Generation APPLE employee Promo Eye Glasses. RARE Early 1980s - $575 - (Astoria, OR)

Bought from the estate of Washington State Senator Retired Sid Snyder. I was told by the estate of Senator Sid Snyder that he worked for Macintosh in the early 1980's. I have spent hours upon hours trying to research the exact origin or reason for such a promo. I have bean unable to find any information regarding these. Any information is greatly appreciated. They have the Apple logo on both arms and the frames are a bright red. Cosmetically they are in great condition. Please be sure to view all pictures as they are part of description.
