Estate Sale Find: Up for auction is an unframed oil on canvas painting by Virginia Goldberg. It is unsigned on the back. It is fresh from a large Ohio estate. This painting is sold as it sits. It could use a good cleaning, as it was stored in the attic with several other paintings for many years. There is a bit of wear around the edges of the canvas, but overall it is in great condition. Good investment potential. It was painted in the early 1940's, as the other paintings I have from this estate have dates and signatures on them. Dimensions: Approx. 25" x 30" Unframed Virginia Goldberg is a listed American painter who was born in 20th Century (1913-2011). She was also heavily into photography. Since she passed in 2011, several of her paintings have recently been sold at by some reputable auction houses. I am absolutely no art expert, so please ask any questions prior to bidding.
