Twenty years ago I wrote an article that was published in the TAMS JOURNAL (Token And Medal Society) in their 1997 Jan-Feb issue on Heraldic Art medals entitled SO CALLED HALF DOLLARS. I recently co authored a 20 year update on the Heraldic Art Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. It was published in the current Mar - April issue of this year. This article has an in depth history of the Co.,manufacturing process as well as a 30 year study of mine as to rarity and pricing (in my opinion).
