The artist is California award winning artist R. Bitton ARTIST STATEMENT Hi, It was my childhood dream to be an artist and I feel so fortunate to have managed to have lived this dream. My enthusiasm for creating art seems to be never ending, and it brings enjoyment and a sense of purpose to my life. For over 30 years, I have been a full time productive independent studio artist, working in various media such as; Pottery & Ceramics, Musical instruments (Ocarinas), Jewelry, Painting and Photography. Of all the media I have worked with I love painting the most. Much of my inspiration comes from world travel, from love of nature and fascination with various cultural traditions. I paint what I love, subjects that give me a sense of hope, well being and joy of living. I hope that my paintings communicate these positive feelings and values to the viewers.
