2 " inch Ampex Grand Master 456 Recording Tape - $50 - (South Royalton, VT)
This tape is one of many tapes I received when Suntreader Recording Studio (an industry standard recording studio) formerly located in Sharon, Vermont, closed its doors. I was a recording engineer there and have kept these tapes with me for over 40 years in my studios, but now it is time to downsize. As you can see by the photos, this tape was recorded on in 1975. When I last played it, it worked great, but has not been played in 40 years for lack of a 2'' tape machine. I have sold other similar tapes and some people tell me they play fine and others told me they had to have them baked, for this reason i cannot guarantee that this will perform properly and is being sold as is. Anyone who knows rock and roll will know who this is on the Suntreader label from one of the photos in the listing. Buyer pays shipping. Please contact me with any questions.
