No stains, good colorfast, but have multiple small pin poles ( like something was pinned through the material repeatedly in different spots) 25 or more across the right front mid area of shorts across from pockets and 6 along the left. They could be viewed as actually several pinned areas that caused runs in the fabric. They holes do not let light through the fabric to tear or fray, so would be good pair of service or camping shorts to wear with Troop T shirt but not best looking with uniform tucked in. All zippers and pockets in good condition, no rubbing or pilling or material just the odd holes pille. Don't know what the young scout or Webelo did. From nonsmoking Eagle Scouts' home. Returns accepted with buyer paying return postage. Waist measures 29-30" before stretching of elastic. inseam 9", 18" total length of shorts from waist band to hem ( the zip off portion).
