This First Edition 1955 Junior Cookbook has 6 sections divided by tabs - Beverages, Breads and Sandwiches, Candy and Cookies, Desserts, Main Dishes, Vegetables and Salads. The first two pages have torn holes. The hardcover notebook is in excellent condition and pages of personal recipes can be added into the book. The book measures 9 x 7.5 and has 190 pages. (I think the last page of the index is missing in the back, as it only goes through 'M'. ) This book is a walk down memory lane when little girls had to take Home Economics courses in junior and senior high school. It would be a sweet way to start off a little grandchild in his or her cooking experiences!Enjoy!!
