Antique Old K & O Kronheim & Oldenbusch Perpetual Calendar Scottie Terrier Dog - $100 - (Lenoir City, TN)
Old Metal Scottie or Terrier Dog Perpetual Calendar. This item is appx 2-1/4" high x 3-7/8" wide. Metal but not magnetic. Made by K&O, Kronheim & Oldenbusch, which was a US company located in Brooklyn NY. They were in business from about 1900 -1942. Their mark is on back, and it has an intertwined "K O" with "& Co" inside the O. It also says "PATENTED FEB 21-28". It's in good condition without notable issues. The calendar months and days still move and it can still be used for a calendar. The month shows at the top with the number of days in the month. Months are on a metal wheel that turns. The days are on paper with clear plastic over the top & slide back and forth to line up with the proper day of the week. Actually a very clever design. It's rare to see these for sale at all and especially with the calendar itself in workable, good condition. Please view all photos for best description.
