BlackFace Black Plate Black Faceplate for Fender Super Reverb 2001 & later Re-issue. Made from STEEL. "Fender Musical Instruments" This plate is uniquely fitted for Fender Super Reverb 2001 & later Re-issue AMP ONLY. Obviously, this is a direct replacement for the Super Reverb re-issue. According to a fellow eBayer, it will NOT fit vintage amps, so be sure that you are planning on using this on a 2001 or LATER Re-issue AMP. Fender kept that same LOGO design for the re-issue series, but this plate is made from STEEL, rather than the commonly used aluminum up to that point, and has some hole size variations and the vertical displacement doesn'r align with the vintage amps, either. I purchased this new about 16 yrs ago, and it has been in storage ever since. It has NEVER been used or even installed on an amp, so I will classify it as: NEW - other. You have to hold the plate up to the light to see any slight imperfections. That all being said, this is a silkscreen on STEEL painted plate. Keep your eye on my listings for original Silverface plates that I took in trade when people purchased plates from me back in the 90's. You will also see vintage amp logos, etc. in my other listings.
