Monumental late 19th or early 20th century quarter sawn Oak fireplace mantle with gesso capitals and puti. Ornament on header appears to be carved wood. Each corner is adorned with a large cabochon and fleur-de-lis. Mantle measures 96" tall x 63" wide x 16" deep. Some veneer loss on right column. Right column also has two capital corners detached.
