Tiger Oak Full Mantel Beveled Mirror Mission Era Architectural Salvage - $1,750 - (Grass Lake, MI)
For your consideration, a stunning tiger oak mantel from approximately 1910 to 1920. Unusual in design as the top shelf and supports are not squared off, but almost a half round. Measures 59" wide X 71" high. Firebox opening measures 41-1/2" X 3" high. Above the box opening two supports below the shelf at each side. Shelf is square and angled, being tapered towards the edge, shelf depth the the deepest point is 9-3/4". The mirror is 35-1/4 x 17-1/4 which includes a 3/4" bevel. has slight deterioration on the upper left from age, not too bad but wanted to mention it. Other than that in great condition.
