The cable consists of 4-twisted solid copper wire pairs (8 total conductors), and a copper drain wire. The cable has Polyolefin (PO) 0.010" wall thickness Insulation, Outer Shield Aluminum Foil-Polyester Tape and an Outer Black PVC Jacket with 0.27" outer diameter. This cable is built to operate in extreme temperatures from -40F to +167F (-40C to +75C). Each end of the cable is finished with a fully shielded RJ-45 plug. The plug has an internal ground to which the cable's drain wire is soldered. The cable connectors are supplied without a boot because most applications with the devices we sell leave no room for the boot in the plug cavity. We can make the cable with a boot (no extra charge) if you request it when you order the cable. These cables are custom made in our fabrication facility in California and are tested for quality, accuracy, and continuity. This cable has a 12-month limited warranty. This is a 200-foot cable.
