Women's Black Fur Cape Stole Morton's Wash DC Available is one black fur cape/stole from Morton's in Washington D.C. It is probably for the 1950-1960's. I am not certain what type fur it is but it may be sheared beaver. It is very soft with short hairs. This cape/stole has a fold over collar, two pockets, arm slits, and is in the swing style. It has a hook and eye closure at the front bust-line. On the inside the white initials DBP are hand sewn into the lining. (These could be taken out). The lining is totally intact with very little wear. The total width of the hem from side to side is 39" so around is 78" in total. The shoulder width is approximately 16.5"across the back. The measurement from the front shoulder down to the hem is 26". The measurement from center back neck down to the hem is 29" long. The two armhole slits in the front are 17" high from the hemline and each spaced 7" on either side of the center front line. Two inside pockets measure 6" wide by 7.5" high. It would fit a size Medium/Large or Large/ Extra Large. This is from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for looking.
