1930s/40s Dress Silk Ivory Ecru Lace May have been a Wedding Dress - $50 - (Wayland, IA)

THIS IS A VERY FEMININE SILK (I THINK) DAINTY DRESS THAT MAY HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN A WEDDING DRESS. IT IS VERY SHEER WITH LOTS OF STITCHING AND FOR A VERY SMALL WOMAN. MEASUREMENTS DONE WITH DRESS LAYING FLAT & DOUBLED FOR SOME MEASUREMENTS. WAIST 22", BUST 32", SHOULDER TO WAIST 15". WAIST TO HEM 30", HEM CIRCUMFERENCE 80", UNDERARM TO WRIST 20". IT IS SECURED WITH HOOKS AND EYES AND SNAPS AND ACCENTED WITH LACE AT THE COLLAR AREA. THERE ARE 3 AGE SPOTS ON THE SKIRT AREA. I HAVE NOT PRESSED THIS DRESS AS BEING SILK, I DID NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE INTEGRITY OF THE FABRIC. FOUND IN A BOX OF VINTAGE CLOTHING AT A S.E.IOWA ESTATE AUCTION. I WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR ANY REASON FOR VINTAGE ITEMS SUCH AS THIS DRESS SO PLEASE BID ACCORDING TO THIS POLICY.
