These are a Vintage Pair of Sea Captain Bookends Ceramic With Metal Base On Bottom 7 1/2 Inches High And approx. 5 1/4 inches long at base. They seem to be ceramic, the bottom base which goes under books is metal. Each weigh 1 lb. These are very different and cute. not sure of age they came from a living estate sale Thanks for looking
