It has been repainted-- an amateur restoration. The vintage MD license plate measures 16" x 6". 1940 New York World's Fair License Plate which I purchased from ebay about 5 years ago for my 1940 DeSoto which I no longer have. It has some bends and it was an amateur restoration. The vintage NY license plate size is 6-5/16" x 13-1/2". These license plates will make a great addition to any vintage license plate collection or for the front of your classic car.
