2018 Lower Shore Transition & Advocacy Conference - N.A. - (Salisbury, MD)

We would like to personally invite you to the 2018 Transition & Advocacy Conference: Staying on Track After Graduation! Join us on Saturday, March 10th, 2018, from 9:00am - 3:00pm (registration takes place from 8:45am - 9am) to learn more about the steps necessary to ensuring a "smooth ride" after graduation. Our Keynote Speaker this year is Jennifer Rooney, a Supports Planner with Bay Area Center for Independent Living (Bay Area CIL). Ms. Rooney has been serving the disabilities community for over 22 yrs. Her work experiences include DDA, Diakon Lutheran Services, and Bay Area CIL. Her Post-secondary degree is in Human Services from California University of Pennsylvania. This conference is an opportunity to learn more about Benefits Counseling, Advocacy through the Arts, the ABLE Act, and more! This event is dedicated to transitioning youths (i.e. graduating high school) with a disability and their family members/care givers.
