T?t, the Vietnamese New Year, is the most eagerly anticipated and the most important holiday in the Vietnamese culture. Tet brings generations both young and old together celebrating the new year fortunes with traditions passed down from ancestors. Tet Festival Austin (TFA18) is the 20th Annual Vietnamese New Year (Tet) Celebration presented by the Vietnamese American Community of Austin, Texas (VACAT), in collaboration of other Vietnamese American Austin based organizations, for the community to preserve and share the culture with others. This year, we greet the year of the Dog, we will have all day festival, will includes fun activities for all ages. Many things to do and see: Authentic Vietnamese Food, Red Envelope (Li Xi), Cultural Performances, Dragon Dances, Ao Dai Fashion Show, Martial Arts, Activities for kids.
