Unusual Antique 19C Sevres Perfume Casket With Original Bottles Ornate Bronze Openwork Standing Miniature Cupboard With Gold Dore Decoration Five Hand Painted Sevres Porcelain Plaques and Fancy Paw Feet Two original blue glass perfume bottles decorated with gold. Bottom compartment was probably for jewelry. It stands 10 3/4" tall, 6" wide and 3 1/2" deep, weighs just over 3 lbs. It is lined with a soft muted pink rose velveteen. It locks with a key both top and bottom but there is no key. Doors do snap closed without the key. The 5 floral plaques measure approximately 1" by 5/8". Condition overall is good. Bronze openwork seems to all be intact. The gold dore maybe slightly worn in places but not much. The velveteen is a little faded or soiled under the openwork. The fabric on the very back side and bottom is worn. Bottom has not been wet, just lost its fabric in that area. Estate found here in Maine. Guaranteed as described.
