2018 CHCCS Dance Marathon - N.A. - (Blowing Rock, NC)

This year, East Chapel Hill High School is hosting the 3rd annual CHCCS Dance Marathon, joining 450+ schools in the nationwide Dance Marathon movement. The movement culminates in a traditionally 12-36 hour event, though ours will be a 6-hour event. Students from across the district will stay on their feet in a neon-themed evening of entertaining live performances, free food provided by dozens of local businesses, loads of raffle prizes, team games and competitions, and dancing. By staying on our feet for hours at a time, we show solidarity for those who can't do the same.All net proceeds from CHCCS Dance Marathon 2017 go to the Carolina For The Kids Foundation, the largest student-run nonprofit organization in North Carolina, benefiting patients and families served by UNC Children’s Hospital. Our contributions help cover costs of patients and families at UNC Children's Hospital, not already covered by medical insurance -- gas cards, food, parking passes, hospital bills, etc.
